What you are buying

Reimagine the All Fourths Guitar Fingerboard is a 226-page full-colour PDF, delivered by download immediately after purchase. It is not a printed book, and there is no physical edition at present.

A free sample — a complete chapter, plus pages from throughout the book — is available on this site. Please read it before buying. It is there so you can judge the book from the book itself rather than from my description of it.

Revisions

Every buyer receives every future revision of this edition at no extra cost. If a passage turns out to be wrong, unclear or missing, it gets fixed, and the corrected file comes back to you. If you find something, write to me.

A future expanded edition, should there be one, would be a separate book at a separate price. Revisions to this edition are always free to you.

How you may use the book

The book is licensed to you personally. You may print it for your own use and keep copies on your own devices. You may not share the file, upload it anywhere, or pass it on.

If you teach: you may reproduce individual pages for your own students in private instruction, provided the book is credited. Reproducing chapters, or supplying students with the book’s material in place of the book itself, is not permitted. If you are teaching from the method and want your students to have their own copies, write to me — there is a discounted price for students of teachers using the book.

Watermarking

Every copy is watermarked with the buyer’s email address and purchase date on each page. I would rather tell you this than do it quietly. It is not there to inconvenience you; it is there because this is a small field and a self-published book, and a file that circulates freely is the end of the project.

What I can and cannot promise

I can promise that the book is what it says it is, that the file works, and that I will fix what is broken. I cannot promise a particular musical result — that depends on you, on the time you put in, and on where you are starting from.

Changes

I may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here at the time of your purchase.

Your rights

This policy does not affect any rights you have under the consumer law of your own country.
